Carlo Maratta reproduction frame for the States

We made, hand-carved and gilded this large reproduction frame in an English 18th century style.  The type of frame it replicates is Carlo Maratta which was popular 'wall furniture' for the interiors of 18th century England.  The commission was from Paul Mitchell Ltd.
